From the beginning, I felt that Lake Forest would be a great fit for me as it has so many opportunities to become involved and integrated with the college life and local community. The college's reputation for academic excellence was also a major deciding factor in my decision-making process. Furthermore, the research opportunities presented by the college are something that I definitely could not pass up. Both Coach Tashlitsky and Coach Finn, along with the Admissions Department have been so accommodating in the application process, that I already feel at hoe before even arriving on campus. The location is also very conveniently situated, being close to a major airport. I look forward to working with the team and professors in the forthcoming four years.

All in all, Grinnell was a school where I felt immediately at home as I stepped on campus. From the stellar academics, unbelievable facilities, and welcoming team culture, it was an incredible fit in all aspects. I couldn’t be more proud to say that I will be a Grinnellian this fall! Go Pioneers!

Not going to lie, it was a tough decision, and half the time I don’t think I knew which way was up, but when it came down to it the beauty of the campus, the opportunity of Chicago, the kindness of the staff, and the unwavered perseverance of Coach Tashlitsky all were major factors that when combined were hard to match. And when it came down to what I wanted to study and pursue, I’m not certain anywhere else could have been much better.

I chose St. Norbert because not only did I feel valued as a swimmer, but as a student I felt the drive to succeed. I also feel with the Coach that he will further my swimmer career as I stride to become better. Very excited to be considered a Green Knight!

I chose Grinnell College because of its strong focus on independence and a passion-driven education. I felt that Grinnell was the place where I could grow the most both in and out of athletics. Additionally, the aquatic center is amazing and I am excited to contribute to the team.

When I came for my overnight visit to LFC, I never felt more at home. From the beautiful landscape that is the town of Lake Forest to the friendly and awesome community that is Lake Forest College, everything just fit for me. I was able to connect with the team on a friendly basis and genuinely enjoyed just hanging out with them. I also got to see how amazing their academic facilities are, and I just could not go to any other school. I felt sad leaving the campus once my overnight was done. I genuinely felt like I was a part of the campus and the student life that is provided there. That being said, I could not be happier to see how the next four years play out for me at this amazing school. I cannot wait to see the friends I'll make, and the fun times that will be had.

"I chose Lake Forest College as the place to start my next journey in life. From the day I applied to the day I committed, the coaches and counselors have been nothing but supportive and helpful. I feel the small school setting will help me not only excel as a student but also as a teammate and classmate. I cannot wait to start working with Coach Tashlitsky and Coach Finn next year, as I believe they will be great leaders for me not only in the pool but out of the pool as well."

I chose Lake Forest College because I'll be given the opportunity to thrive in the classroom and contribute in the pool. From the moment I walked on the beautiful campus for the first time, I fell in love with it and all of the amazing students who made me feel warm and welcome during my visit. My future teammates taught me that you can always have a good time while also working hard. I'm especially excited to begin the next chapter of my swimming career with Coach Tashlitsky, someone that I know I can trust to help me grow as both a student athlete and as a human being. I'm super pumped and I can't wait to be a Forester in the fall!

From the moment I arrived on this beautiful campus, many incredible people made me feel welcome. Future teammates showed me the balance of work and fun, and Coach Tashlitsky also stands out as someone who understands the importance of growing both as a swimmer and a person. I am excited about doing both at LFC and look forward to being a Forester!
