I chose the University of Houston because as soon as I met the girls on the team I felt like I belonged. Seeing the family atmosphere at a meet is what drew me in to start talking to them and the closeness and comfort I felt with the girls on my recruiting trip kept me hooked. Not only did the team impress me, the academics and campus blew me away. I come from a family and a school with a high competitive drive to be the best in whatever you do. At Houston I really felt like the opportunities presented to me made me feel like I could strive here, in not only swimming but in a major that will set me up to live out my dream of being a therapist and helping other young athletes like me.
