Emory, Kenyon Return to Top of Endless Pools III Rankings

Emory University's women and Kenyon College's men took on Division I opponents and the results landed them on top of the Endless Pools/CollegeSwimming.com Division III Top 25. Emory tackled Georgia Tech while the Lords hosted the likes of Ohio State, Oakland and Cincinnatti in a home invitational.

Those moves knocked previously top-ranked Denison down to third in the women's ranking. Williams' men, previously-ranked first, likewise fell to third.

Amherst, Gustavus Adolphus, Washington (Mo), Connecticut College, MIT and Wellesley rounded out the women's top ten while MIT, Amherst, Johns Hopkins, De Pauw, Saint Olaf, and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps took the top ten spots of the men's ranking.

The ranking accounts for teams' top performances over the preceding month and is the only objective ranking of swimming for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, and NJCAA. The rankings utilize a new point system based on a 1,100 point scale. The new scale uses NCAA time standards and a percentile ranking of all times over the past four years.
