I am absolutely thrilled with my decision to commit to the University of Michigan; not only do they have stellar academics and athletics, but they have phenomenal team spirit that gave me an intrinsic sense of being apart of something greater than myself. Go Blue!

Growing up around Ann Arbor,I have been learning about the excellence of the University of Michigan for almost all of my life. Its amazing academics as a public school set it apart from many other schools. The swim team is exceptionally strong and has been for some time, and the coaching staff and swimmers both strive to continue that tradition. The coaching staff is very helpful and approachable, and I know that they can help me succeed. Michigan is the perfect place for me to excel as a swimmer and also give me an education that will prepare me for the future.

The moment I entered Ann Arbor, I knew that that was where I wanted to be. The program has a tradition of excellence, and everyone there strives to keep that tradition alive. The brilliant coaching staff is one that I trust to help me thrive both in the water and in the classroom. Michigan has some of the best academics in the country, and the academic support that is offered is unmatched anywhere else in the country.

I had an amazing list of college coaches that I was in touch with through email and over the phone. I was welcomed by many of them to take unofficial visits with my family, and we were able to experience the different campuses and teams. Through my travels and experiences, I found that the University of Michigan has a unique combination of top-tier academics, a brilliant coaching staff and team culture. I know that, at the University of Michigan, I will have the best possible support in maturing as an athlete, as a student, and as a man. GO BLUE!
