Recruiting information

Brenau is a small, private school about an hour north of Atlanta and near the North Georgia Mountains and Lake Lanier. It is a safe, walkable campus with a pool on site. The Gainesville town square is 1/2 mile walk from the pool and boasts lots of restaurants and boutiques within walking distance (no car needed).

We are part of the Appalachian Athletic Conference of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics). The NAIA consists mostly of small, private schools; however, we compete against some Division II and Division III teams, as well as other NAIA teams, throughout the season.

Brenau offers generous academic and athletic scholarships, small class sizes, and many fields of study.

Looking for swimmers who are serious about their education, work hard in the pool, are great teammates, and who take initiative.

Small 4-year, primarily nonresidential (confers bachelors degrees, FTE enrollment 1,000 to 2,999, less than 25 percent of degree-seeking undergraduates live on campus and/or less than 50 percent attend full time).
