UIC's Dalesandro Admits to Recording Women's Locker Room

UIC Freshman Joey Dalesandro has been charged with felony unauthorized video recording and ordered held on $50,000 bail.  The charges stem from allegations that he secretly recorded members of the women's swimming team.  Dalesandro is the brother of Big Ten 100 and 200 fly champ Gia Dalesandro.

According to reports in the Chicago Sun Times, the Horizon League and IHSA finalist is alleged to have recorded members of the women's swim team undressing via a gap between the men's and women's locker rooms.   One of the women reportedly discovered the phone and turned it into campus police.Dalesandro was arrested on Thursday and admitted to making the recordings.  In court, Dalesandro's court-appointed attorney referred to the videos as "a tasteless [prank] … that went nowhere."

Dalesandro enjoyed a metoric rise having made significant improvements over the past two seasons at Neuqua Valley high school and UIC.
