California (four) and USC (two) combined to win each of the six titles on the third day of competition at the Men's Pac-12 Swimming Championships, held at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash. Despite not winning a title on the night, the Stanford's depth proved to be the difference in being able to widen their first-place lead.
400 Individual Medley
California freshman Andrew Seliskar claimed his second Conference title after winning the 200 IM on Thursday night. Seliskar clocked the second-best time in the country at 3:39.78 to get the win.
Seliskar is the first student-athlete to successfully double in the 200 and 400 individual medley since Tom Wilkens of Stanford in 1996.
Freshman Abrahm Devine and sophomore Curtis Ogren of Stanford took second and third place with times of 3:40.20 and 3:41.43, respectively.
100 Butterfly
California sophomore Justin Lynch's time of 46.08 was good for a first-place finish in a very tight race.
It is the second-straight year California has won the event and the fourth time in the last five years.
USC freshman Alex Valente finished in second place with a time of 46.10 while junior Renny Richmond of Arizona clocked a time of 46.11, good for third place.
200 Freestyle
USC junior Reed Malone won his second title of the week, taking the 200 yard freestyle title with a time of 1:33.08, the No. 7 time in the country this year.
USC claimed the Conference crown in the event for the seventh-straight year.
California junior Long Gutierrez earned a runner-up finish with his time of 1:33.44 while fellow Golden Bear senior Trent Williams took third place in 1:34.11.
100 Breaststroke
California sophomore Connor Hoppe's time of 51.86 was the third-best time in the country this year and was good for a first-place finish in the event.
Hoppe is the first Golden Bear to win the Conference crown in the event since 2011 with Arizona winning the four titles in between.
USC freshman Carsten Vissering finished in second place with a time of 52.41 and Arizona freshman Blair Bish took third place in 52.58.
100 Backstroke
USC's sophomore Ralf Tribuntsov won the Conference title with a time of 45.57.
Tribuntsov snapped California's three-year winning streak in the event.
Arizona freshman Chatham Dobbs clocked a time of 45.72 in second place while Stanford freshman Ryan Dudzinski's time of 46.28 was good for third place overall.
400 Medley Relay
California's quartet of Seliskar, Hoppe, Lynch and Gutierrez earned a first-place finish in the event with a time of 3:06.89.
The Golden Bears won its first title in the event since 2013.
USC finished in second place overall in 3:07.14 while Arizona clocked a time of 3:08.28 and finished in third place.

Competition resumes on Saturday at 11 a.m. PT with the preliminary rounds of the 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly and 1650 freestyle. The finals session for those events plus the 400 freestyle relay (timed final) will begin at 6 p.m. PT.
