Super excited to announce my verbal commitment to Oakland University! I can't wait to be part of the Golden Grizzly family next year! I am so grateful for all of the help from my family throughout the recruiting process and so lucky to have met so many amazing coaches along the way. I can’t wait for the next years of my life with the Grizzlies! See you guys in 2021!! #OUpride

My parents are the ones that pushed for me to look at Roanoke. I only went to please them. But the unexpected happened: I fell in love. I had heard students say that they "just knew" that was the school for them, but I never believed it. Everyone on the swim team was so individualistic but they were like family. The Head Coach, Scott Thacker, and I clicked. He is chatty, friendly, funny but at practice he means business. He cares about his swimmers and their education but he has expectations about the commitment they made. He is the type of coach I need. He is the type of coach I respond to. After only three years of having a swim team at Roanoke College, they are already second in their conference. Roanoke College may be a Division 3 school but the swim team trains like Division 1. I am really to get in the water and bring the fire. I know that next season we will be number one.
