Tips On Approaching NCAA's From Two-Time NCAA Champion Cammile Adams

I've only been out of the NCAA one season, but I miss just about everything about it.

Going into this week, most likely you will be nervous. (Texas A&M Head Coach) Steve (Bultman) always did an amazing job at not only physically preparing the team, but also mentally. Steve has us focus on the journey and not the outcome.

Leading into the week of NCAA’s that's what I did. Instead of drawing in on the time I wanted to go or winning an NCAA championship, I would focus on all the hard work the team had put in and how much fun we had doing it. The week leading into the meet is so much fun, all the hard work has been put in.

I think it's most important for athletes to sit back for a moment and just take everything in: the atmosphere, the people that helped them get there, the spectacle of it all.

My message to all of you who worked hard and were blessed enough to make it in to NCAA’s is to just enjoy every minute because trust me...it goes by way too fast!
