Josie McKee (Canton, Ohio) led the University of West Florida women’s swimming and diving team on the final day at the Clarion Diving Invite on Sunday. McKee placed eighth in her one event on Sunday, the 6-dive 1-meter competition, with a score of 214.55.
With an eighth place mark on Sunday, McKee earned top-10 finishes in all three of her events at the invite. On Saturday the junior placed eighth in the 11-dive 1-meter competition and seventh in the 6-dive, 3-meter competition.
Megan Drake (Navarre, Fla.), Tena Newhouse (Anchorage, Alaska) and Meghan Zets (Grovetown, Ga.) also competed in the 1-meter dive on Sunday. Zets placed 14th at 193.30, Drake was 21st at 138.70 and Newhouse was 22nd at 134.20.
