Wright State Sweeps Ashland

The Wright State swimming and diving teams swept Ashland in their home opener Saturday at the WSU Natatorium, with the men winning 224-73 and the women taking a 163-126 decision.

The women were led by first place finishes by Kortney Mullen in the 1000 free and 200 back, Kayla Fearrin in the 100 and 200 breast, Emily Hayhow in 100 and 200 fly as well as the 400 medley and free relays.

The men were led by first place showings by John Vigar in 1000 free, Alec Carnell in 100 and 200 free, Kile Aukerman in 100 and 200 back, Clement Quilliec in 100 and 200 breast, Jeffrey Ross in 200 fly, Alred Pappe in 50 free, Matthew Dassow in 500 free as well as 400 medley and 400 free relays.

The men are currently 5-0 while the women are 4-2.  Both teams will host Green Bay on October 24 at 5:00.
