There was no change among the top eight teams in the
latest 2013-14 Endless Pools/CollegeSwimming.com Division III Top
25. It is the only objective ranking of swimming for NCAA
Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, and NJCAA.
For the third straight week, Denison's women and Kenyon's men
remained atop the rankings which accounts for teams' top
performances from October 21 - November 17.
Denison, Johns
Hopkins, Emory, Stevens, Keene State, Chicago, MIT and New York
all remained ranked 2-9th. TCNJ moved up two spots to knock
Carnegie Mellon out of the top ten.
On the women's side, Kenyon followed Denison. Then it was
Emory, Johns Hopkins, Chicago, Washington (MO), Carnegie Mellon
and MIT making up the elite eight. Williams College made its
debut at ninth just ahead of NYU.
The ranking accounts for teams' top performances over the
preceding month and is the only objective ranking of swimming for
NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, and NJCAA.
This year's
rankings utilize a new point system based on a 1,100 point
scale. The new scale uses NCAA time standards and a
percentile ranking of all times over the past four years.
