On October 16, 2017, Decatur Mayor Patti Garrett cut the ribbon to signify the opening of the city’s first indoor pool at the Samuel L. Jones Boys and Girls Club in Oakhurst. The Oakhurst Pool is a 5-lane, 148,000-gallon indoor aquatics facility. The pool is a partnership between the Boys and Girls Club, Decatur Active Living, and Dynamo Swim Club.
