Coach Josh has been the POSA Head Coach since the Spring of 2009. Josh joined POSA after enjoying a very successful swim career. Josh was a POSA swimmer and a Sandburg Eagle swimmer before becoming an All-American at Lewis University, where he earned an MBA in Business Administration. He completed an internship with the University of Michigan where he worked in a coaching capacity with Club Wolverines. Josh also has a background in personal training as well as dryland training techniques. Since then, Josh is married to his wife Shannon and has seven children. He loves teaching the sport of swimming and making POSA a family and competitive environment.

Coach Matt started as an assistant coach for POSA in the Spring of 2009. Matt began swimming at the age of 5 for the Lockport and Westmont Swim Clubs. Matt was a varsity swimmer all 4 years at Lockport High School; state qualifier in both the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Backstroke his junior and senior year; was All-State his senior year. Matt received a scholarship to Lewis University where he was co-captain of the team for three years. Matt has taught group and individual swim lessons for age group swimmers for many years.

Brittany joined POSA in the spring of 2014 as an assistant coach. She started her swimming career with the Burbank Stingrays when she was 6 years old. She transferred to the Hickory Willow Swim Club a few years later. Brittany was a varsity and state swimmer all 4 years at Sandburg High School; and competed at the Junior Nationals Championship Meet twice. Brittany is currently swimming on the Lewis University Swim Team. She holds records at both Sandburg and Lewis. Her favorite stroke is backstroke!

Coach Mitch joined the coaching staff in Fall of 2015 as an assistant coach. He started his swim career on POSA at the age of 7. Mitch continued onto Sandburg High School's swim and water polo teams all 4 years. Mitch is currently studying to become a firefighter. His favorite stroke is butterfly!

Coach Jake joined POSA in the Fall of 2016 as an assistant coach. He began swimming competitively during his freshman year at Sandburg High School. He continued to swim and also play water polo for all 4 years. He is currently attending UIC. His favorite strokes are breaststroke and the IM!
