Assistant Coach, Women's Swimming

Hello! This year (2022-2023) is my first at SJSU. I am incredibly excited to join Head Coach Sage Hopkins, Diving Coach Mark Butcher, and the wonderful Diving & Swimming student-athletes. SJSU is investing in the future of collegiate athletics and the student-athlete experience. We have a vision to bring the best student-athlete out of each individual who walks through the doors of the Spartan Recreation and Aquatics Center. The rich competitive and cultural history of the Spartan Swim & Dive program is the ideal foundation to build a championship team and I couldn't be more proud to join the Spartans on this journey into the next era of the Swimming & Diving program. Being a Spartan is an honor and I will wear the blue and gold with pride. Go Spartans! For the previous 8 years from 2014-2022 I was the Associate Head Coach at San Diego State. There the Aztec swimmers & divers won 4 Mountain West Conference Championships, and sent student-athletes to the NCAA Championships every year, and had 10 student-athletes achieve All-American status. I was a swimmer and volunteer assistant coach at University of Hawaii, Manoa from 2007-2014. I grew up in Forest Grove, Oregon and swam for the FGSC Dragons and the FGHS Vikings. I love swimming and love coaching it every day!
