Nate Parsley enters his fourth season as the head coach of the Salisbury University men's and women's swimming programs in 2024-25. Parsley and his staff were honored as the 2024 NJAC Women's Co-Coaching Staff of the Year. He is also an assistant coach for the Salisbury University softball team that finished second in the nation in 2023. -Broke 90 program records since 2021 -Set 15 Maggs Pool records -Oversaw 900+ lifetime-best swims in first three seasons -2024 Women's Team NJAC Championship Runner-Up -42-8 combined Salisbury University coaching record (.840 winning percentage) Men: 21-4, Women: 21-4 -Finished first in combined percentage of personal best swims at the 2024 NJAC Championships -Named 2022-23 Most Improved NCAA Men's & Women's Division III programs by SwimCloud -Set men's (2022-23) & women's (2023-24) program record for dual meet wins in a single season (9) -2022 Men's Team Cougar Splash Champions Notable Matches as Head Coach -Oct. 16, 2022 - Salisbury defeats Marymount (Va.) in the men's (141-90) and women's (140-122) meets for Coach Parsley's first victories as SU head coach -Jan. 28, 2023 - Salisbury defeats St. Mary’s (Md.) in the men’s (184-75) and women’s (222-35) meets and assuring the men’s (nine) and women’s (eight) teams their most dual-meet wins in program history -Jan. 27, 2024 - Salisbury men's swimming defeats Catholic for Coach Parsley's 50th career win as a men's swimming head coach Coaching Career Prior to Salisbury Parsley served as the head men's and women's swim coach and aquatics director at Arcadia University from 2017-20. The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Coach of the Year in 2020, Parsley guided the men's and women's swim teams to three consecutive top-three finishes at the MAC Championships from 2018-20, 625 personal records, 40 program records, six MAC records, 14 Lenox Pool records, 14 MAC champions and three NCAA Division III B cuts. At Arcadia, Parsley amassed a 57-12 record with a .826 winning percentage. The men's and women's teams set program records for most dual-meet wins in a single season. The women's team finished the 2017-18 seasons undefeated with an 11-0 mark while the men went 9-0-1 in the 2020 season. Prior to Arcadia, Parsley was the assistant men's and women's swim coach at Rowan University from 2013-15 and at Haddonfield High School from 2012-13. Parsley also has experience coaching softball, serving as the first full-time assistant with the Rowan Profs since the spring of 2020, as well as a part-time assistant from 2009-16. He spent time with Division I Radford as an assistant coach from 2016-17. Personal Life A two-year captain and a standout student-athlete during his undergraduate swim career, Parsley earned his Bachelor of Arts in education in Dec. 2012 and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration in May 2016 from Rowan.

Chase McClure returns for her third season on deck with the Sea Gull swim program as a coach, and fifth overall with the program. An alumnus and top performer during her career (2018-2020), she has immense pride for the Maroon and Gold. A two-time Salisbury graduate from the Perdue School of Business, McClure also begins working full-time in Ocean City, MD for the digital marketing company D3corp.

Keaton Burke

Assistant Coach

We welcome Keaton Burke as the first full-time assistant coach to the Men’s and Women’s Swim program. No stranger to Salisbury University, Burke, a 2019 graduate, returns to the Sea Gull staff following a successful tenure at two NCAA Division I programs since 2021. “I’m so excited that my coaching journey has brought me back to my alma mater!” said Burke. “I would like to thank Head Fairfield Head Coach, Jacy Dyer, for the mentorship and experience this past year. Thank you to Coach Nate Parsley and the new Athletic Director, Monica Polizzi, for giving me this opportunity. I am thrilled to get to be a part of the uprising. Go Gulls!” Burke most recently assisted at Fairfield University (2022-2023) where he helped guide the women’s program to the 2023 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship. The season prior, he was on staff in the ACC at the University of Notre Dame. He was honored by the @cscaa1922 in 2023 as a recipient of the prestigious Jean Freeman Scholarship. At Salisbury, Burke graduated with a bachelor's degree in Communications in 2019 from the Fulton School. During his undergraduate tenure, he was a four-year member of the swim team. In 2019-2020, he served on staff as a volunteer. “I am excited to have Keaton join our staff," stated Head Coach Nate Parsley. “His knowledge and love of the sport are two of his strongest attributes. I am confident he will make an immediate impact on our program as we continue to build on our success."
