These academic majors are highly valued in America's new economy. NJIT offers a great education, the ability to compete at the Division I level, as well as to have an exciting and rewarding college experience.

NJIT's location, within 20 minutes of Times Square, NYC, its availability of academic and athletic scholarships, and its wealth of opportunities for in-depth student based research and internships makes it a great choice to spend your college career. The university's prestigious Albert Dorman Honors College offers a wide range of opportunities, resources and substantial scholarships to students who obtain a 3.8 or higher GPA in High School and have received above a 1400 SAT score or 30 ACT score.

In a recruit, the the Highlander coaching staff is looking for a student that can both excel in the classroom as well as in the pool. We are a growing program that embraces student-athletes who work hard and who have the potential to be well-rounded individuals as they grow through their college years. NJIT is looking for swimmers and divers that are ambitious and want to be a part of a young and dynamic Division I program. Our coaching style is based on making sure that every swimmer's stroke technique and divers form is at the optimal level. We work individually with everyone through on-deck coaching, video replay, and athlete meetings to make sure every problem is fixed and that each student-athlete can reach their personal goals.

The team's best attribute is the young men that have already chosen NJIT to be their university. We are truly a Highlander family. The upperclassmen consistently mentor the newcomers in both swimming, diving, and academics. NJIT is a rigorous school and the swimmers and divers on the team know that everyone has to help each other to make the group a better team.

We sincerely hope that NJIT might be a great place for you to attend college. We offer highly valued degrees in science, technology, engineering, math, and design, while also offering you the chance to compete at the highest level of collegiate athletics.
