Luther College

Aaron Zander enters his fifth year as head coach in the 2023-2024 season. During his tenure, the mens team won the American Rivers Conference Championships in the 2021, 2022, and 2023, and he was voted men's diving coach of the year in 2022 and swimming coach of the year in 2023. The women's team has improved drastically during his time, winning four consecutive conference championships from 2021-2024, and he received women's coach of the year honors in 2024. In addition, he won Liberal Arts Conference women's coach of the meet honors in 2020. Zander, a 2010 graduate of Luther College, graduated magna cum laude in elementary education. During his swimming career, the Norse captured four Iowa Conference titles and three Liberal Arts Championship titles. He swam on four different relays that claimed five Liberal Arts Championships and seven Iowa Conference titles. Zander was also crowned an Iowa Conference champion in the 200 backstroke.

Linnea is a 2021 graduate of Luther College. While a Norse, Linnea was a four-year letter winner and team captain. She posted six top-five all-time performances and was a four-time Liberal Arts Championships individual champion. She holds the Luther pool record in the 50 freestyle (23.98). In addition to Linnea's duties at Luther, she is also the head club coach for the Northeastern Swim Team (NST).

Diana joins the Norse in 2023 as Assistant Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Coach. A 2010 alumna, Diana has extensive background with Luther Swimming & Diving as team manager from 2006-2010 and also was assistant to the Athletic Director during her time at Luther. She is a licensed optician.
