Recruiting information

We evaluate incoming athletes in three ways:

Academic excellence - our team prides itself on high academic outcomes and annual Scholar All-American recognition.

Swimming times - times are a starting point. We're going and getting faster year over year, and we train our athletes to grow and get faster throughout their four years.

Personality - we want great people on this team. Everyone is unique, but we are a blue wave at meets. We support each other in and out of the water and are a close-knit community.

Consider each of these, not only times, when you look at our team. Every person plays an important role. Swimming times are a starting point - we develop every athlete and individualize training to get the most of out of everyone. We believe in growth, both personally and athletically over your four years, and will help you reach your swimming and professional goals.

Small 4-year, highly residential (confers bachelors degrees, FTE enrollment 1,000 to 2,999, at least 50 percent of degree-seeking undergraduates live on campus and at least 80 percent attend full time).
