YMCA of Northwest Louisiana

Eddie joined at the YNWL as our Head Swim coach in 2024. Eddie has been a USA swimming coach since 1978. He has coached many national record holders, All-Americans, and state champions. He served on the board of directors for Gulf Swimming for over 20 years. Eddie has two twin daughters, 32. They both live in Cypress, Texas. Cammile & Ashley both grew up swimming. Cammile - a two-time Olympian, competed in the 2012 London and the 2016 Rio Olympics. She is now the owner of Safe Splash Swim Lessons in Cypress, Texas. She is married to Rad Brannon and have two children Harper (2) and East (5 months old). Ashley- competed in the 2012 Olympic Trails in Omaha. Ashley is currently an English teacher and teaches private swim lessons for her sister.

YNWL welcomed Maribeth in 2018 to lead our Level III/IV groups and assist with Level V/VI. For 3 years Maribeth was the Head Coach of the Aviano Sea Dragons on base in Aviano, Italy as part of the European Armed Forces Swim League. Maribeth is a military spouse with 3 children: Trae, Dominic and Allie. Allie is currently a swimmer in our Level V group, Dominic is a lifeguard at the YMCA and Trae is in college at LSU and helps out when on breaks from school. Previously a swimmer herself for Auburn Aquatics in Auburn, AL. Maribeth still enjoys swimming from time to time.
