I am extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to study and swim at the Division 1 level for the University of Maryland Baltimore County. From the minute I stepped on campus I knew this is where I wanted to call home. From the amazing coaching staff, athletes and academic opportunities I realized how special this school is. Thank you to all of my coaches, family members, friends and supporters that helped me to get to this point. GO RETIVERS! 🐶🐶🐾🐾#retreivernation #truegrit
Swimming in college for me wasn't really a huge goal until about my sophomore year in high school. I knew I wanted to study medicine, and that I didn't really want to go too far from home. I looked at C of I as a possibility for school first as I had heard good things about their pre-med programs, but when the idea of swimming for them popped up, I grew more excited about actually being a Yote. After my visit with the college during the fall of my senior year, I knew I had my heart set on attending College of Idaho. It wasn't too far from home, I was going to be able to earn a good education, and I could continue doing one of the things I loved most, swimming. The road to this point hasn't been easy, but it was definitely worth it, and I look forward to seeing where my journey takes me next.
