I chose Stanford because it is unparalleled internationally in both academics and sport. It is a place where I believe I will flourish as a Student-athlete and achieve my goals in and out of the pool. I can't wait for what's to come. Go Card!!

I chose Stanford due to a combination of unparalleled academics, athletics, an amazing coaching staff and a team that made me feel at home the moment I stepped on campus. The chance to live out a childhood dream while getting the best education possible alongside the opportunity to reach my full potential in and out of the water was something I could not turn down. I couldn't be more excited to be a Tree and represent the Cardinal on The Farm! #GoCard #FearTheTree

A wise magi appeared in my dream and spoke to me: "To run with the lions you must become the beast!" I awoke from that dream puzzled and confused. The magi's words rang in my ears like a shepherd calling sheep. I realized the magi was a messenger from the lord himself, guiding me to make a life-altering, groundbreaking decision. The next four years (or less if I decide to turn professional) will be spent in sunny Palo Alto. I would be a fool if I didn't thank God himself, Shia LaBeouf, for guiding me to this point in my career. His work in "Holes" truly changed my outlook on life...I have to keep digging and then I will meet my true friends and my true purpose in life. Please respect my decision. Go Cardinals!

Stanford offered the best combination of Academics and Athletics for what I was looking to get out of my college experience. I am honored and excited to be part of this great program. #Fearthetree
