Sun Devils Sweep Division I Honors

Both Division I Awards go to Arizona State as Chloe Isleta and Cameron Craig earn national nods. Isleta swept the backstrokes and took runner up in the 200 IM in an exciting victory over Arizona. On the men’s side, Craig led the Sun Devils to a dominating win over Arizona as he swept the 100 and 200 freestyles in times of 42.51 and 1:34.78, respectively.

Cassandra Wright (Sioux Falls) and Jullen-Pierre Goyeche (Oklahoma Baptist) are this week’s Division II Swimmers of the Week.

Johns Hopkins swept the Division III titles after competing in the Nike Invitational. Michelle Wang recorded personal bests in the 50 free, 200 free, and 200 IM, while Michael Wohl also posted two personal bests in the 50 free and 100 free.

Mid-Major awards go to two Ivy League swimmers as Isabella Hindley of Yale and Logan Houck of Harvard both had outstanding performances that led their respective teams to victories at this year’s H-Y-P meet. Hidley touched the wall first in the 50 free (22.43) and 100 free (48.97). Houck took first in the 1650 free in 14:47.39 and took second in the 500 free in 4:19.50.

NAIA Swimmers of the Week are Alexis Kelsey (Lindsey Wilson) and Niels Engeln (Lindenwood-Belleville). Jana Burner of Iowa Central and Gabriel Knaut of Monroe Community College are this weeks NJCAA winners.

All selections are independent of selections made by each conference.  Winners are selected from results submitted by Midnight EST each Monday.
