For the second straight week a pair of ACC Swimmers earned CollegeSwimming's National Swimmer-of-the-Week Award. Virginia Tech's Lane Stone and Louisville's Mallory Comerford were selected on the basis of their performances October 10-15, 2017
Eastern Michigan's Logan Burton earned the Division I Mid-Major award by going a perfect four for four in leading the Eagles to a win over Northwestern. Juliette Lajoie was the women's Mid-Major winner. Lajoie was three for three on the weekend and has lost just one individual race this season.
In Division II Franco Lupoli of Nova Southeastern and McKenzie Stevens of Queens University of Charlotte were selected as were Ian Rainey (NYU) and Miranda Coughlan (Rowan) in Division III.
Erwin Ortiz Torres (Mars Hill) and Suzanna Gonzales (Morningside) were named NAIA Swimmers-of-the-Week while Courtney Perrett and Ryen Van Wyk of Indian River swept the NJCAA Awards.
In addition to the dozen national winners, CollegeSwimming selected 102 conference Swimmers-of-the-Week.
