Light Week Brings New Faces

With many schools on Thanksgiving break last week, new faces were able to shine. Both of this week’s Division I National Swimmers of the Week come from Penn. William Thomas continued his distance dominance this year by adding two wins in the 500 free and 1,000 free. Kristen Sun swept both breaststroke events and grabbed her first 2 wins of the season

Anna Lee (Queens) was the only National winner for Division II this week. Lee also added 2 wins to her season total as she won the 100 Breast and 200 IM against Hunter College.

Division III Swimmers of the Week went to Natalie Rumpelt and Ang Li, both of Amherst College. Rumpelt grabbed 2 wins in the 100 and 200 freestyles against Wesleyan University. Li also swept the 100 free and 200 free, as well as helped Amherst to a victory in the 400 free relay.

These selections are independent of selections made by each conference.  Winners are selected from results submitted by Midnight EST each Monday.
