BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell claimed each of the day’s first nine events and cruised to a 134-66 win over visiting North Florida Saturday at the Johnson Aquatic Center.
The Camels improve to 8-4 in dual competition on the season, while UNF falls to 1-6.
Prior to the meet, the team’s 2016-17 home finale, CU recognized its three seniors, Olivia Dwyer, Alice Rigback and Abbey Will.
Campbell swept the top three spots in six events and took the top two in two more to build a 134-35 lead at the second break.
The Camels started the match with a 1-2-3 finish in the 400 medley relay, with the top time clocking in at 3:57.23. Geena Squartino (17:49.22), Megan Shoemaker (18:01.08) and Caylee Addison (18:16.19) followed with a sweep in the 1650 free.
Squartino later topped the 500 free with a time of 5:14.26, again followed by Shoemaker (5:15.31) and Addison (5:20.76).
Caroline Clark took the first of her two wins on the day in the 200 free with a 1:58.42 mark. The junior also claimed the 100 fly with a time of 57.57, headlining another sweep, followed by Madison Scott (57.90) and Maddie Baiotto (57.96).
Michelle Case was also a two-time winner for the Camels, taking the 50 free with a 24.14 mark, followed by teammates Sarah Wilson (24.51) and Alice Rigback (25.03). Case also won the 100 free with a 52.58 mark.
It was another Campbell sweep in the 200 IM, with Sindija Silina (2:09.34), Karah Sizemore (2:13.28) and Kelsey Tunstall (2:14.62) leading the way. Karah Sizemore also won the 100 back for the Camels, checking in with a 1:00.45 mark.
The Camels' regular season finale will come at UNCW on February 4 before heading to the CCSA Championships, February 15-18.
