Roberts Wesleyan and Saint Norberts Sustain Growth

The ranks of Division II and III continue to grow.  Saint Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin and Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York will be adding programs.  RWC is aiming to start in time for the 2017-18 while Saint Norbert appears intent on giving their new head coach a full year to recruit.

Saint Norbert will make use of the new Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center.  The facility will overlooking the Fox River and is the school's first pool.  St. Norbert last competed in intercollegiate swimming in 2009.

Roberts Wesleyan will use the college's existing pool in the Voller Athletic Center for practices and dual meets. It will also compete in larger regional invitational meets.

"We are excited about the announcement of our 19th NCAA Division II competitive sport at Roberts,” Athletic Director Bob Segave said. “The college has had a pool for 30 years. However, this is the first swim team for the Redhawks. Having a swimming program will not only add another varsity team, but will also contribute to our diverse student body.”
