The Denver sophomore finished in 4:25.17, while Myers finished in 4:29.84, nearly five seconds ahead of the next closest swimmer. On the men’s side, senior Patrick Guillory (Meadows Place, Texas) and junior Ben Ussery (Austin, Texas) finished fourth and fifth to score points for the Pioneers.

Freshman Colin Gilbert (Kamloops, B.C.) picked up his second distance victory of the weekend and his first this season in the 500 free with a time of 4:32.11. Junior Grace Sommerville (Ashburton, New Zealand) led the Denver women in the event with a third place finish at 5:08.33.

The two-day meet finished up with the men’s and women’s 400 free relays. Roas, Wice-Roslin, Bradley and Myers finished second with a time of 3:26.89. Denver’s men’s 400 A-relay of Farber, Robrock, junior Ray Bornman (Mackay, Queensland) and Loncar also finished second, touching in 3:02.07.
