SALISBURY, Md. – Impending snow to the Mid-Atlantic Region has caused the postponement of all of Salisbury University's athletic events scheduled for Saturday, January 7.
Winter Storm Helena is expected to dump snow on the Salisbury area beginning overnight Friday into Saturday, which has prompted the closing of the University for Saturday.
The men's and women's swimming meets at McDaniel College, and the men's and women's basketball doubleheader at home against Frostburg State University have all been moved to Sunday, January 8.
The swimming meets will begin at 1 p.m., on Sunday in Westminster, Maryland. The women's basketball game in Maggs Physical Activities Center will tip off at 1 p.m., followed by the men's game at 3 p.m.
