Freshman Megan Hupp captured her first collegiate conference title after winning the 500 freestyle on the second night of competition at the 2017 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships Friday night at the Graham Aquatic Center. The Knights picked up their third relay medal, picking up the bronze in the 400 medley relay.

500 FREESTYLE: Hupp broke her own program record in the event after touching the wall first in 5:07.96 after first setting the record in the morning's preliminaries after clocking in at 5:10.29. Sophomore Alyssa D'Esposito placed seventh in 5:22.67, while freshman Bekah Brown placed 16th in 5:30.86.

200 INDIVIDUAL MEDLEY: Senior Megan Obarowski led the way for Arcadia, placing seventh in 2:14.49. Freshman Rachel Samson won the consolation final in 2:15.23, placing her ninth overall, while sophomore Taylor Byers placed 12th with her time of 2:17.65. Messiah's Katie Wingert won the event in 2:07.90.

50 FREESTYLE: Freshman Kayla Drago was the top finisher for the Knights, placing sixth in 25.08 seconds. Sophomore Samantha Carpenter placed second in the consolation final after touching the wall in 25.33 seconds, placing her 10th overall, while freshman Eunice Ardamoy placed 13th in 25.67 seconds. Messiah's Cassie Cotton placed first with her time of 23.95 seconds.

400 MEDLEY RELAY: The Knights placed third overall after Ardamoy, Carpenter, Drago and Hupp turned in a time of 4:01.49. Messiah's team won the race in 3:57.83, while Stevenson was second in 4:00.45.

TEAM STANDINGS: The Knights remain in third with 179 points. Messiah leads the way with 223 points, while Widener is in second with 200 points. Stevenson (143 points) and Albright (131 points) round out the top-five.

Junior Grant Fisher won the 500 freestyle title for the second time in as many years on the second night of competition at the 2017 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships Friday night at the Graham Aquatic Center. The Knights picked up their third relay medal, picking up the bronze in the 400 medley relay, while freshman Tristan Highet earned the bronze medal in the 500 freestyle.

500 FREESTYLE: Fisher broke his own program record twice in today, registering a finals time of 4:40.23 to repeat as champion after turning in a time of 4:42.95 in the morning's preliminaries. Senior Matthew Morano placed eight after turning in a time of 4:48.02.

200 INDIVIDUAL MEDLEY: Senior Eric Lam was the first of three Knights to score in the event, placing fourth in 1:57.76. Sophomore Michael Melissen placed seventh in 1:59.33, while junior Chris Nicolescu placed 16th in 2:04.82. Albright's Ken Richardson won the race in 1:53.97.

50 FREESTYLE: Freshman Tristan Highet earned the bronze medal after touching the wall third in 21.51 seconds; he broke his own program record in the morning's preliminaries after clocking in at 21.47 seconds. Classmate Mark Preedy placed fifth with his time of 21.88 seconds, while sophomore A.J. Cawley placed 13th in 22.15 seconds. Widener's Ian Gaynor won in 20.55, while Albright's Jay Deschamps was second in 21.16.

400 MEDLEY RELAY: The Knights placed third overall as Lam - who led off with a program-record time of 53.87 in the 100 backstroke, Nicolescu, Melissen and Highet after turning in a program record time of 3:30.75. Widener finished first in 3:28.61, while Albright finished second in 3:29.81.

TEAM STANDINGS: The Knights moved up to second in the team standings with 189 points, trailing only Albright (221 points). Widener (185 points), Messiah (125 points) and King's (124 points) round out the top-five.
