Boulder, CO’s Brittney Beetcher has made a verbal commitment to swim for the University of Buffalo beginning with the 2017-18 season.

A senior at Fairview High School, Beetcher is the defending state champion in the 200 and 500 freestyles; last year leading her team to win the 2016 Colorado 5A state championship adding relay points in the 200FR(23.8)/400FR(51). Already a 6 time individual All-American she has consistently competed at a high level already qualifying for 4 summer JRs championships and even was an alternate for the USA in the open water 5K world junior championships. Besides excelling in distance freestyle, Beetcher is competitive in the 200 FLY and 400 IM competing in both at the junior national level.
