Campbell Closes Out UNC Pembroke

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell picked up its second win of the weekend with a 130.5-26.5 home victory over UNC Pembroke Saturday at the Johnson Aquatic Center.

The Camels improved to 5-2 in dual competition on the season, also topping Georgia Southern 179-82 Friday night.

Campbell topped all nine events on the day, with Maddie Baiotto kicking off the meet with a 2:01.62 in the 200 free. Madison Scott followed with a 1:04.94 in the 100 back, and Angelica Damberg claimed a time of 1:06.19 in the 100 fly.

In the 100 breaststroke, Caroline Clark posted a 1:09.67 mark. Geena Squartino topped the 50 free with a time of 25.93, and Michelle Case took the 100 IM with a 1:00.54.

Kacey Hauk notched another win in the 100 free with a 56.21 clip, and Sindija Silina rounded out individual competition with a 5:23.97 in the 500 free.

Campbell closed the meet with a win in the 200 free relay, clocking in at 1:42.98.

Next up for the Camels will be a trip to Gardner-Webb on Nov. 4, competing against the Bulldogs and UNC Asheville.
