This story will be updated as it developes - but last night University of North Dakota President Mark Kennedy agreed to the recommendations of the Intercollegiate Athletic Board to not eliminate any sports.
Furthermore, the University has indicated a commitment to fully-fund swimming and diving within five years. Along with the indication came a request that "there be no further communication to President Kennedy."
More to come as details emerge, but its a win.
