Loyola Sweeps Colgate

BALTIMORE, Md. - Junior Ben Cono won three individual races and contributed to the victorious 200-medley relay team to lead the Loyola University men's swimming and diving team to its second straight win, a 163-119 win over Colgate University while the Loyola women's swimming and diving team also trimmed Colgate, 161-135 at the Mangione Aquatic Center on Saturday afternoon.

“It is great for both teams to be 2-0 against Patriot League teams,” said Loyola Coach Brian Loeffler. “The women's victory was especially satisfying because the last time the women swam Colgate, we lost on the last relay. I am especially happy for the women to come away with a win today."
