STANFORD, Calif. – The Stanford men's and women's swimming teams will host the programs' annual alumni meet at 5:30 p.m. PT on Oct. 21 at the Avery Aquatic Center in conjunction with the University’s annual homecoming weekend.
The alumni meet will pit the “old-timers” against the current teams. A post-meet tailgate will immediately follow the friendly competition on Friday evening.
Throughout the weekend, Stanford will play host to the ITA Northwest Regional Championships at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium. The Cardinal hosts UC Davis and Cal in field hockey on Friday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m., respectively, with the women’s soccer team hosting Utah on Sunday at 1 p.m. On Saturday, the Stanford football team plays host to Colorado with the game’s start time yet to be announced.
The Stanford men's and women's swimming and diving programs have combined to win 16 national titles and 50 conference titles over the past three decades.
