Oklahoma Christain University, a private Division II school in northeast Oklahoma City, is adding swimming. Bolstering their move is the hiring of Josh Davis as head coach. Davis, of course, is a legendary United States Olympian.
Today Davis is most-widely known as an exceptional clinician and widely admired as a faith-based speaker. That makes a natural fit for a school where roughly 500 students, faculty and staff annually participate in mission opportunities and that has won fifty-six national titles including twenty-nine since 2010.
