Texas Men, UVA Women Top Week 10 Rankings

With mid-season invitationals having concluded, the College Swimming landscape has become clearer.

Both the Texas men and Virginia women led the Division I Swimming Rankings.  Both teams also boasted National Swimmers-of-the-Week who were both, ironically, named Smith.

The defending NCAA Champion Longhorns retained the top spot following their performance at the Texas Hall-of-Fame Invitational. The UVA women remained atop the rankings following their win at the Georgia Invitational.

Among Mid-Major programs, a pair of Ivies led the way.  Pennsylvania University claimed the top spot on the men's side for the first time in ranking history while the Yale women led the women's side.  Both teams just edged Denver University.

The rankings account for results submitted for meets from September 27 - December 6.
