I fell in love with the team instantly and academics are amazing here. I felt like part of the swim family. The whole team is close and the coaches are really nice but strict on grades which I liked. The study abroad program is really cool and has an amazing pre-med program which has been very successful. I didn't want to leave after my visit.

I couldn't be happier to choose to swim and study at Florida State University for the next four years! Coach Neal Studd and his coaching staff are doing amazing things at FSU and are providing a great and supportive environment to grow as a student and a swimmer. I really enjoyed everything about Florida State on my trip, which confirmed my decision. I’m looking forward to being a Nole!

I chose Florida State because I want to be a part of something great. Coach Neal Studd is completely changing the program and making it into something very well worth being a part of. There is a completely new coaching staff, the swimmers are getting faster at an unprecedented rate, and they seem to be recruiting athletes with considerable potential. I also chose it because the team is very easy to get along with, the new coaches seem to be a pleasure to work with, and the engineering building looks great. I hope that I can help the team prosper and I am sure that this will be an amazing influence in my life. I hope to find success both in the pool and in the classroom. Go Noles!!!

I wanted to be part of a team that was really dynamic and quick. The men’s and women’s team don’t train together – it allows the coaches to really focus. It sounded pretty amazing. One of the huge benefits of college swimming is the amount of racing they do… just being able to get up and race as and when is needed is a huge skill to have and it will definitely help you on the bigger stage in the end.

I chose University of California-Berkeley because I would love to swim for one of the top schools of the country. Even though I am not as fast as other swimmers who applied for this school, I want to try and swim in order to learn more about this sport to the best of my knowledge. I have been inspired and would be honored to train just like Olympic swimmers Ryan Murphy and Jacob Pebley

I wanted a university I could excel at academically while continuing my swimming career at a high level. I feel like I found exactly that at Colgate. I can't wait to be on the team next year! Go 'Gate!
