I chose Emory because of the combination of top-notch academics, wonderful coaching staff, and terrific team chemistry. I am excited to continue my swimming career, recieve a world-class education, and spend the next four years with a superb community of people! I want to thank my parents, coaches, teammates, and friends who have all helped me reach this point. GO EAGLES!
University of Chicago
I chose Emory because of its perfect location in the suburbs of Atlanta, its elite undergraduate business program, and for its championship caliber swim program. I can't wait to be an Eagle and contribute to more NCAA DIII National Championships!
Great academics and team atmosphere. Go Tartans!
Carnegie Mellon University
Brandeis has outstanding professors and academics and it is widely esteemed as one of the best universities in the United States. Brandeis felt like home to be as soon as I visited campus, I was greeted with friendly people and I immediately felt part of the Brandeis family, that is when I knew I wanted to attend Brandeis. I also met with the coaches of the swim team and their personality, desire to make the team better, and dedication to their swim team is everything I was looking in a college swim team.
The University of Chicago has been my dream school since the onset of the 10th grade. UChi suffers me an opportunity to compete frequently at a high level--something that likely would have eluded me had I pursued more DI schools. Above swimming, the University of Chicago is one of the nation's premier academic institutions, and I am nothing short of elated to be able to call myself a Maroon for the next four years! Through Coach Weber and his staff, swimming with such a competitive group, and challenging myself in the classroom, I feel like there is no place on Earth that will allow me to flourish quite like the University of Chicago. Go Maroons!
