I am pleased and excited to announce my verbal commitment to Pomona College! I look forward to pursuing my academic and athletic future as a Sagehen. The phenomenal education paired with a stellar swim program, in beautiful Southern California, makes Pomona College an unmatchable choice. A big thank you to all who have supported and encouraged me throughout my swimming and life journey!

Applying to Occidental as a transfer student, I was looking for a small liberal arts college in an urban area. Occidental far surpassed any of my expectations; its location, opportunities offered in surrounding LA and the energy of the team made it stick out alongside any other school. Go Tigers!

I chose Occidental because it fit all of the criteria I was looking for. It has a strong academic program, it is extremely small, it introduces me to a new culture I didn't get in Wisconsin, and I can swim.

I was looking to swim competitively following my national team and military commitments for Singapore at a exceptional academic college in California. When I visited Pomona, it felt like the right environment for me to take my swimming further and also receive a world class education. I am beyond excited to represent Pomona College over the next 4 years!

Occidental is a place where I saw an incredible opportunity to continue in the things I've found most influential in my high school experience - government, theater, and of course swimming. Over the multiple visits I made to Oxy before committing, every single time I heard from at least one student, teacher, coach, or administrator that the swim team was one of the closest, most tight-knit groups on campus. I am incredibly excited to further my swimming career over the next four years with the Occidental Tigers, under Coach Webb and alongside all the kind, welcoming student-athletes I had the pleasure of meeting before making this decision. Go Tigers!
