I chose Colorado School of Mines because it will provide me with the best opportunities to pursue my interests in physics and engineering, and it will allow me to continue swimming competitively and to continue to challenge myself.

When I was visiting the CMU I could really see myself on campus going to class and practice. It was a surreal experience and I can not give up this chance to become a Maverick. The team culture is like nothing i've ever seen before and with my intended major I could not miss out. Im really excited to see how college swimming will shape me.

I am incredibly excited and overwhelmingly thankful to announce that I will be continuing my swimming career at Colorado Mesa University! Between the top-notch facilities and knowing that I’ll be headed to a school with like-minded coaches and teammates who are eager to succeed, the choice to bring my passion for the sport to Grand Junction was an easy one! Go Mavs!!!

Coach Hanson and Hastings have been very welcoming, once we began talking I knew it was the right program for me. I chose Colorado Mesa because of the small campus size that also includes world-class training facilities including performance labs. Go Mavericks!
