During my visit, it all made sense. I fit in at Army. Simple. I loved that the atmosphere of the swim family was so driven with a common goal. I loved that the cadets are willing to work to create something bigger than themselves. I loved that everyone was so passionate about the sport of swimming. I could not be happier to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point to swim with such an elite team and serve my country. Thank you to my coaches, my team, my friends and my family for making me who I am today and making my dreams come true! GO ARMY!!!
I visited campus and I never wanted to leave! The staff and the cadets wanted nothing more than the success of the people around them, and the work ethic and desire to succeed was radiant all around campus. The West Point Swim Team's coaching staff and its swimmers were extremely friendly and outgoing; a real family. With that, not only was campus beautiful, but the facilities and resources at the disposal of the cadets were beyond what I expected. The culture and atmosphere around campus has a proud, inspiring feeling to it that I can't explain. I'm honored to be a part of the family and the Long Line of Gray. Go Army!
I chose Widener because of their outstanding physical therapy and swimming program. I felt Widener was the perfect fit for me to continue my success both in and out of the pool and I'm looking forward to continuing my swimming career at Widener University. Go Pride!
Proud to be a member of the Pride! I chose Widener due to the great engineering program and the opportunity to swim for Coach Katy. The campus is great and everyone I met was friendly. Coach Katy's program is awesome with the opportunity to swim for championships every year. Go Pride!
"I am honored to have the opportunity to continue my education and swimming career at West Point and become part of the Long Gray Line. GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY!"
