I decided to go to Howard University because I realized that this institution would be the place where I could really grow exponentially and contribute to the team. Coach Askew makes his swimmers feel as though they always have someone supporting them, and I'm ready to be a part of a greater whole. The academics at Howard have always been held in high regard and respected! Along with the swimming, the academics will allow me to really push myself and improve in various ways. I'm incredibly excited for the next part of my journey at Howard!

I chose to commit to Howard University because I'm pursuing a degree in Political Science, and what better city to do it in than the one that houses the White House! Additionally, the coaching staff is very welcoming and I look forward to further my swim career at the Mecca. Since I'll be attending from out-of-state, the environment will be outside of my comfort zone, but I'm excited for change. I can't wait to attend my home away from home! Go Bisons!
