I chose to pick the Virginia Military Institute because of the atmosphere and family friendly team. With coach Bretscher leading the charge and his experience, I am positive I will continue to gain speed and lower my times straight from the start of season. Rat life 19+3 here I come!
I'm excited to spend the next four years at UMBC. Coach Chad and the entire team were very welcoming. The combination of academics and swimming are a perfect fit for me.
Campus size and student enrollment was a comfortable fit. UMaine had my Major with the opportunity to expand to additional Minors. I can't say enough good things about the Swim Coaches or the team. My commitment to UMaine was due in large part to Coach Lizzotte, Coach Costello, and the Leadership Team Members (Jake, Jacob, and Beatrix) that took time out of practice and a meet to continue speaking with me and making me feel comfortable. This team will significantly help me during my transition due simply to it feeling like an extended family. During my visit, it didn't matter what parent, student, or faculty member you spoke with about UMaine Swimming or academics, it was always positive. I want to thank the UMaine Swimming and Diving program for your time and I look forward to giving it all I have for UMaine both academically and in the pool..."GO BLUE"...PROUD TO BE PART OF THE BLACK BEAR NATION!
I knew after my overnight visit at VMI this was the perfect school for me. I believe this is the school that will push me to succeed while I am excited to contribute to the VMI legacy. I am looking forward to working with Coach Bretscher, his vision for Keydet swimming also contributed to my decision to attend VMI.
I felt at home as soon as i met the team. Coach Cradock, Gibeau and the swimmers were very welcoming and the entire school has a hardworking yet relaxed atmosphere that I wanted to be a part of.
I chose the University of Maine because it offered me the best of both worlds. I’m able to swim for a great team under great coaches. At the same time, it is allowing me to pursue my major in engineering. I’m excited to be a Black Bear!
I chose Maine because I can study environmental engineering at a great program while continuing to progress in my swimming.
I am so honored to have the opportunity to be a cadet-athlete at such a great school for the next four years. Right after my visit, I knew VMI would be the place that would shape me into the adult and leader I hope to be one day. It is an exciting time for VMI swimming and I am totally dedicated to being a part of the rebuild and making Keydet swimming relevant again. RAH VA MIL!!
I chose UMBC because of the great team atmosphere and the overall dedication to always improve.
I chose to attend UMBC for the wonderful people, the challenging academics and the beautiful campus. When I visited, I knew right away that it was where I wanted to spend the next few years of my life. I'm extremely excited to be a Retriever, and very grateful for all the help and support of my family, friends and coaches.
I chose University of Maine because it allows me continue to improve my swimming while studying at a great engineering program.
I am excited to have the opportunity to further challenge myself in the pool as well as in the classroom and call such a great university my home. Go BEARCATS!
