Alabama has huge potential and the coaching staff have brought in a new mind frame to the team. I am so happy to be part of the Crimson Tide swim and dive team. A very genuine and welcoming team. Their student athlete support is amazing!
Newcastle AUS
Alabama was recommened to me by a coach in Newcastle who had previously trained and studied there. The experience of the coaching staff is phenomenal and the training offers a variety of short course yards and long course meters, which is important to me coming from Australia. Academically the University also offered good courses for me, and I believe it is the best option in taking my swimming career to the next level.
After inking 12 in the early signing period, first-year Alabama swimming and diving head coach Dennis Pursley and his staff have added another bumper crop of student-athletes in the late signing period, adding nine swimmers and a pair of divers.

I chose Alabama because I really liked the direction the coaches and team are heading. The coaching staff is new in 2012 and they have an excellent vision for the program, and I wanted to be a part of it. The University has outstanding sporting facilities, a fantastic Student Athlete Center, top notch academics, and the best school spirit. Roll Tide!
