I chose IUPUI because the combination of academics, extra-curricular activities, and swimming was the right combination for me. IUPUI offers degrees from both Indiana University and Purdue University, so no matter what major I choose, I know that I will graduate with a meaningful degree. I also am a member of the IUPUI Honors College, the Plater International scholar program, and the Kelley Direct Admit program so I know that the experiential learning, community service, and research aspects of my college experience will be meaningful and diverse. The swim team is very close and Coach Bos' method of training fits my athletic goals. Finally, I chose IUPUI because the campus was right for me, the city life of downtown Indianapolis suits me and I know that the people I interact with will create life-long friendships and career networks for me. I can't wait to join the IUPUI Jaguars and swim next year!

I chose to go to IUPUI firstly because of the Purdue Engineering program at the school. I think that IUPUI is in a division of swimming that will challenge me and be competitive for me. I also felt like when I visited, I connected with the team very well. I really like the coach, Matt Bos, and have heard good things about his coaching abilities. I am excited to see how much better I can get training with the team!
