I committed to Birmingham Southern because I felt like it had an outstanding swim team for a first year team and because the academics I would receive from them would take me far after I graduate. It has a friendly environment and felt like a perfect match.

When I came to BSC for an Athletic visit I was just amazed by the campus and the people within the Birmingham Southern College community. Toby, Eric, and the rest of the team were welcoming. Not only did I choose BSC for the athletics but, for its high quality of education that I can work to achieve. Also with the strong connections of a couple friends and previous teammates backing my decision. I'm also very excited to have the privilege of using the wonderful facilities the college provides. I'm proud to call BSC my home for the next two years and compete as a panther!!

The dual degree program in Engineering. I have the opportunity to swim for Birmingham Southern College Panthers' first swim team. That is pretty exciting! Coach Wilcox has been great to work with and I look forward to swimming for him.
