Sophomore year

• Enters the season ranked fourth in the 500, 1,000 and 1,650 freestyle events in Georgia's record book.

Freshman year

• Placed second in the 1,650 freestyle and 12th in the 500 freestyle at the NCAA Championships. • Competed in the 400 individual medley in the NCAAs. • Chosen as the Southeastern Conference Male Freshman Swimmer of the Year and named First-Team All-SEC and to the All-Freshmen Team. • Won the conference 1,650 freestyle title and came in fifth in the 500 freestyle and ninth in the 400 individual medley.

Pre college

• Graduated from The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he swam for Dan Flack. • Named a High School All-American in five events. • Won the state championship in the 500 freestyle. • Was a Junior Nationals champion in the 500 and 1,650 freestyle and came in second in the 400 individual medley. • Earned multiple Junior Nationals titles in Germany. • Set the German age group record in the 800m freestyle. • Was the German Senior Nationals champion in the 1,500-meter freestyle.
