Anchored school-record 200 freestyle relay...quartet touched wall in 1:31.01 and scored in fourth place at Big Ten Championships (2/18)...time broke previous record of 1:31.09 set in 2005...opened collegiate career with victories in 50 and 100 freestyle races at Indiana Intercollegiates (10/10)...also led off victorious 200 freestyle relay...won 100 freestyle at Eastern Michigan (11/14) and vs. Michigan State (1/8)...swam third leg on victorious 400 freestyle relay at Miami (10/23), vs. Notre Dame (11/6) and vs. Northwestern (11/7) as well as winning 200 freestyle relay at Eastern Michigan (11/13)...anchored victorious 200 medley relay vs. Michigan State (1/7)...also took third leg on runner-up 200 freestyle relay vs. Spartans (1/8)...anchored second-place 200 freestyle relay (1/29) and led off runner-up 400 freestyle relay (1/30) at Big Ten Quad...finished second in 50 freestyle and third in 100 freestyle at Miami...took third in 50 freestyle and fourth in 100 freestyle vs. Notre Dame...finished second in 50 freestyle vs. Northwestern and at Eastern Michigan (11/13)...touched wall fourth in 100 freestyle and fifth in 50 freestyle at Indiana (1/23).

Four-year letterwinner...won back-to-back state titles in 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle...first state championship came in 50 freestyle as sophomore...won both titles as junior...50 freestyle swim came in state-record time...defended 100 freestyle crown with state-record time as senior...earned All-American, All-State, All-County and All-Area honors...finished second in 50 freestyle senior season...also earned four letters in track and field...won team's best sprinter award in 2007 and 2008...won school's George W. Forester Outstanding Senior Athlete Award in 2009.
