• Graduated from Countryside High School. • Swam for St. Petersburg Aquatics and was coached by Fred Lewis. • Was a three-time state champion and Florida state high school record holder in the 200 individual medley. • Named high school swim team MVP four years in a row. • Was the 2009 state champion in the 500 freestyle. • Was a member of the 2006 state championship relay team. • Named 2009-2010 Pinellas County Female Athlete of the Year. • Was a part of the 2009 National Youth Championship team.
